Community Petitioners - Legalize Marijuana

Hiring Immediately - $19-33/hr, Full-time & Part-time

Join our campaign to legalize recreational adult use of marijuana in Florida! Work with us to get an initiative on the ballot to give Florida voters the opportunity to legalize recreational use of marijuana. We need your help to collect signatures from voters to qualify this initiative for the ballot in 2024.

Get paid well! Petitioner positions start at $19/hour. We offer overtime pay, driver bonuses, shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals. All team members have the opportunity to earn extra bonuses for working more than 6 shifts in a week. We also offer up to $200 when you refer a friend who works on the campaign.

Stay Safe! We provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Locations: Clearwater, St. Pete, Orlando, Miami

We are hiring immediately, all positions run through February 28th with the possibility for continued work into March and April. Shifts run between 10:30am - 6:30pm weekdays and weekends with the possibility to work part-time or full-time.

Petitioner Responsibilities ($19/hr+):

- Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner

- Deliver a compelling campaign message, and collect complete survey answers from voters

- Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills

- Strictly follow the campaign's safety protocols, including the use of PPE and compliance with daily health and safety guidelines

The ideal candidate:

-Passionate about this issue

-Strong communication skills; you should enjoy working with other people and be willing and excited to speak with everyone

-Hard worker who will stay motivated to engage as many people as possible

-Interested in building their campaign skills

-Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage with teammates and the community

Prior petitioning experience is a plus but not required.
