Royal ReFresh is seeking an Operations Manager to play an important role in improving the internal operations and infrastructure of our fast-growing business. Externally, this position ensures that customers are retained, satisfied, and that their needs are fulfilled. The Operations Manager will be charged with managing Field Services, as well as management of other day-to-day functions.
This position must be able to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the troubleshooting of equipment issues in the field (kiosks, coolers, coffee equipment, water machines, etc). Assists in the field when needed
- Manage the tracking, maintaining and protection of company assets
- Assist with installations of new markets and communicate with the internal teams and customer to ensure a successful launch.
- Maintain inventory and order equipment for new micro market installations and existing markets (snack walls, baskets, shelves, cameras, kiosk cabinets, install supplies, etc.)
- Correspond with customers regarding their equipment and service questions
- Creates and manages the vending route using routing software
- Manages vending machine repairs, installs, removals and product selection
- Oversee the operational functions of the business and develop policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and maximize productivity
- React to any comments, suggestions or concerns for the purpose of account retention
- Schedules regular meetings with employees and foster open lines of communication with direct reports
- Ensure the proper handling of perishable foods, inventory controls both in the warehouse and in the field; analyzes financial reports to determine profitability and opportunities to improve ROI Ensures a safe working environment and communicates company safety policies and goals to employees
- Other duties may be assigned
Education and Experience:
- 4-5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred
- Must have and maintain a good motor vehicle record and a valid driver's license
- Strong Technical Aptitude
- Possess great communication skills and be highly organized
- Possess analytical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
