POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assessing, observing, managing, and documenting individual patient care. In addition, the MA must collaborate with the physicians and the physicians’ clinical team to maximize patient flow.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

CREDENTIALS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:

• Must have 1 year of experience working with patients in either a hospital or office setting.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is preferred, but not required.
• Must maintain HIPAA compliance when accessing Personal Health Information (PHI).
• Must be able to perform physical duties when necessary.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and work efficiently as part of a team.

PAY RANGE (HOURLY)

$16.56 - $23.42 (without CMA credential)

$17.56 - $24.42 (with CMA credential)
