Specialty Infusion Centers is a leading provider of outpatient infusion and injection therapy for patients with chronic conditions, such as Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoporosis, and many others. Our centers are conveniently located across New York, and each center was designed with the patient in mind to deliver a pleasant and stress-free experience.

Our team is growing and we are searching for a Medical Assistant to join our team!

Who We’re Looking For:

• 6 months – 1 year Clinical Experience.
• Good eye for detail to spot mistakes/inconsistencies in medical documentation.
• Possess a superior understanding of Medical language and terminology.
• Well acquainted with anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments.
• Type 55 words per minute minimum.
• Must be computer savvy.
• Patience, Enthusiasm & Excellent Customer Service Skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greeting patients always with a smile to assist in completing paperwork; answering questions and providing respectful and courteous support.
• Perform medical assistant duties such as recording vitals, and office tests.
• Produce medical reports, correspondence, records, patient-care information, and administrative material.
• Accompany and shadow infusion nurses supporting overall infusion workflow.
• Coordinating and prioritizing patient support with the Medical & Administrative Team.
• Faxing, filing, and other clerical duties as needed.
• Always safeguarding and maintaining patient confidentiality by abiding by company policy and HIPAA regulation.
