Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will help our patients receive the medical assistance they need by discovering the reason for their visit. Every day, you will communicate with patients and assist the Nurse Practitioner. You will have a direct impact on the patient’s visit. To thrive in this role, you must have experience in medical terminology and have a positive outlook and great customer service.
What You’ll Do Every Day
- Determine the patient’s reason for the visit
- Take vitals and give injections
- Assist the Nurse Practitioner as requested
- Record information in the EMR
- Assist patients with electronic registration for their visit
- Communicate with patients over the phone
