The Opportunity: Marketing Intern

Under the supervision of our staff, Interns can expect to learn about, and impact all aspects of the revenue subscription management cycle – helping iN2L + LifeLoop realize the value of its suite of products and better serve our customers.

Essential Functions

  • Support event planning and execution such as coordinating with vendors, creating promotional materials, and setting up and managing event logistics.
  • Assist with content creation, such as blog posts, social media content, email/newsletters, and other materials that promote the company and our products and services.
  • Help manage our social media accounts by creating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
  • Help manage projects that may require collaboration with other departments such as sales or customer service, to ensure marketing efforts align with overall company goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the company's marketing efforts.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • You have a basic understanding of marketing, branding, and marketing communications.
  • You have outstanding communication skills - both verbal and written - that enable you effectively communicate with others across different channels and formats.
  • You’re organized and dependable, such that you follow through on assignments and tasks. You know how to manage your time and manage projects that require other people to meet their due dates too.
  • You’re curious and want to learn, and not afraid to ask questions when you have them or ask for help when you need it.
  • You’re innovative and resourceful, always open to or looking for ways to achieve our marketing objectives and improve upon things.

Experience:

  • Enrolled in a college/university as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
  • OR experienced in customer-facing roles in service / retail industries, looking to shift into a career in the marketing.

Scheduling:

  • We offer flexible scheduling. We are seeking students that are available to work 10-28 hours per week, either during the academic year or breaks between semesters / quarters. We understand classes and other obligations are important, so we are more than willing to work with you to build out a perfect schedule for each individual.
