Job Description
Job Summary
The Servicing Manager, Loss Mitigation reviews, monitors and directs all loss mitigation efforts, including but not limited to telephony contact strategy, negotiations, repossession vendor management and other collection activities. Priorities include coaching, developing, attendance tracking, training and motivation of a team of associates with the objective of preventing and minimizing losses. This position drives team performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable state & federal laws.
Job Duties
- Supervises and coordinates activities of staff engaged in Loss Mitigation activities
- Improves customer satisfaction and call quality by monitoring calls and providing feedback.
- Manages performance objectives of staff. Observes and evaluates performance, and provides and documents performance feedback through side-by-side coaching, goal setting and performance reviews.
- Communicates with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work.
- Appropriately addresses human resources issues, such as attendance and interpersonal conflicts in the workplace.
- Participates in the interviewing of staff, and makes hiring recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Work Experience
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Six (6) plus years of related experience, with five (5) years of related experience managing repossessions and 60+ delinquency.
- Five (5) years of collections/call center manager experience required
- One (1) plus years of management experience.
- Strong knowledge of FDCPA and advanced negotiation skills
- Advanced knowledge of late-stage strategies and analytical skills
- Experience managing to state and federal laws and regulations
- Advanced coaching and development / dynamic leadership skills preferred.
- Strong Repossession vendor management experience and iRepo knowledge
- Advanced de-escalation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation Information
Salary Range: $66,600-$89,650
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
