Position Title: Maintenance Worker I
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Responsible for the day-to-day functions related to facilities (Maintenance/Engineering, Environmental Services), as defined by the Maintenance Supervisor, for the facilities.
8 per Day / 5 Days per Week
- Evaluates maintenance and safety issues and priorities within the programs and services throughout TTC locations.
- Provides implementation of repair and maintenance work as defined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assists with the coordination of security, housekeeping, maintenance, facilities support services, and outside contractors towards the overall goal of improvement of the physical plant.
- Assists with the management of supplies and requests for needed materials, and communicates this to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attends meetings as required including staff meetings, in-service education and trainings.
- Fully understands and maintains policies regarding professional ethics, including appropriate boundaries and patient confidentiality.
- Conducts self in a professional manner in areas of dress, language, attitude and behavior.
- Exhibits full knowledge and support of the philosophy and objectives of the Agency.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Director and/or Administration.
Salary Range
$23.75 - $28.40 / Hour DOE
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a facilities role.
- Knowledge of JCAHO preparation helpful.
