We are looking for a full-time compassionate and dependable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to care for our residents in a professional and considerate manner. We are an assisted living community in East Orlando. Experience working with memory care is a plus. 12 hour shifts and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications
• Orders medications, reviews filled prescriptions for accuracy
• Maintains accurate medical records
• Works closely with CNAs and caregivers to oversee the residents’ care
• Provides emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicates with residents’ families to provide updated information

Skills

• Proven experience as LPN or similar role
• Ability to carry out a variety of diverse tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a must
