The Lab Technician will be responsible for testing and analyzing all of the raw materials to meet Balance of Nature specifications. This individual will be detail oriented and have the ability to strictly follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that we produce the highest quality product.What You Will Bring:
- MUST HAVE previous experience or education with biology, microbiology or chemistry
- Extremely well organized; able to organize incoming materials
- Experience in sample collection and identification
- Experience with Google Docs and Sheets
- Understand and use all Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as they relate to using laboratory equipment
- Understand and use all Food and Drug Administration (FDA) laboratory standards
- Uncompromising on standards
- Able to take initiative and action to pursue goals and complete tasks
- Calm, rational and able to adapt
- Clear and effective communicator both verbally and in writing
- Constantly learning new things and improving themselves

What You Will Do:*
- Manage the laboratory environment
- Be in charge of all laboratory procedures
- Determine which raw materials need to be tested and analyzed according to FDA standards
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to obtain the raw materials needed
- Ensure all incoming raw materials are in accordance with Balance of Nature specifications
- Compare findings with established standards to ensure Premium Production has a quality product
- Report to the Lab Manager if anything is found out of specification
- Ensure that all protocols are followed
- Ensure that all sample data has been properly documented and stored

Pay: $18.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
