Delta's Marketing team
is seeking best-in-class talent for our 12-week summer internship starting
June 5th through August 25th, 2023, that
may lead to full-time employment
. Our interns are full members of our team, developing a deep understanding of our global company, directly supporting the efforts of
our
Marketing teams, and gaining exposure to other departments,
partners,
and experiences.
Summer interns are placed within the
Marketing
organization in areas such as
Brand Experience, Marketing Operations, Media, Window Seat (in-house creative team), Sponsorship, Brand,
Lifecycle, and Community Engagement.
Over the course of the summer, interns will take individual ownership
of
a project
that will
help
them to
acquire
marketing skills
and provide
s them
with knowledge
of
a variety of marketing strategies.
- Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in a 4-year degree program in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Media, Communication, or a related discipline
- Must be able to work onsite in our Atlanta, GA office for the duration of the 12week internship program (June 5th August 25th, 2023)
- Experience in deck writing or presentations, project coordination, and analytics communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and pivot for unexpected deliverables or needs
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel; knowledge of SharePoint site administration and OneDrive experience is preferred
- Willingness/ability to learn new skills is required
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
- Consistently makes the safety and security, of self and others the priority
- Where permitted by applicable law,must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
- Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data
- Rising college seniors enrolled in a 4-year degree program in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Media, Communication, or a related discipline with a graduation date of Fall 2023, or Spring 2024
- Ability to digest large amounts of data and information to explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision making decisions
- Ability to develop effective presentations that help explain a need, the analysis, and the findings and recommendations to leaders in an efficient and effective manner
