Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, Washington. We are Department of Health and Joint Commission accredited. We are an acute care psychiatric hospital providing care to both voluntary and involuntary patients.

We are hiring full time Hospital Support Specialist to join our Nursing team.

Position information:

The Hospital Support Specialist functions as a part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team and is responsible for oversight and managing of patient’s valuables and belongings program per hospital policy. This position interacts with other disciplines to include physicians, nurses, social workers, mental health technicians, and health unit coordinators. This position is also responsible for tracking and preparing nursing productivity reports and other reports related to nursing quality for CNO review. Responsible for ensuring that supplies needed or required for patient care on nursing units are readily available and ordering supplies as needed. This position is responsible for following all hospital policies, procedures and government regulations. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all patients, staff, and family members of patients. This position will act in the best interest of the patient and patient safety.

• Hourly - $23 – 34 an hour depending on experience

What We Require:

Education:

• Associates degree; equivalent years of experience or combination of experience and vocational secretarial coursework completion will be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience:

• One (1) year prior experience in hospital setting preferred
