• JOB TITLE: Home Care Aide

JOB DESCRIPTION: Our agency is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our team homecare professionals. The Home Care Aide will be responsible in maintaining a healthy and safe environment to our clientel. The Home Care Aide must be friendly, energetic and have a genuine passion for providing compassionate and quality care.

• DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• House Cleaning (Vacuuming, Sweeping and Dusting)
• Linen Change
• Laundry, Ironing & Mending
• Meal Preparations
• Grocery Shopping/ Errands
• Garbage Disposal
• Companionship
• Provide persoanl and oral hygiene
• Encourage patients to participate in social and recreational activities.
• Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS FOR THE JOB:

• Must have an experience or training in the performance of homemaker/chore services
• Preferably 3-6 months of caregiving experience
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified
• Must have a reliable transportation
• Must pass criminal background check
• Must have moderate to excellent communication skills
• Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma, or GED
• Able to work under-pressure and handle critical situations in a calm demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Home care: 1 year (Preferred)
• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
