Job Title: Helpdesk Technician-IT

Primary Location: DTLA Wilshire HQ

Duration: 18 months

Job Location

On-site (primarily Los Angeles and Pomona) but flexible with periodic facility visits in other campuses, Travel costs to main and remote facilities may be reimbursable

Additional Notes:

Resource should be able to attend on-site meetings/provide on-site support as requested

Resource will provide remote support until such time MetroLink authorizes Return to Work policies and procedures

Background

The Authority awarded Contract SP542-21 - IT Technical Support Services to a bench of 6 firms effective June 1st, 2021, after a competitive RFP process. The Authority is requesting submittals from bench contractors in the Contract SP542-21 for technology support services in support of certain of its internal computing systems, technologies, and enterprise applications. Such services are to include staffing with appropriate skill sets, experience, and background, to provide for the support, maintenance, development and enhancements to technologies and technology services as required by the Authority for one-off projects as well as staff augmentation to support and extend existing solutions.

Job Description

  • Helpdesk offering in-person, on-phone and virtual/remote support for hardware and software issues
  • 10+ years of enterprise IT experience supporting at least 200 users
  • Enterprise remote mobile device management
  • Enterprise user equipment provisioning, installing, maintenance – smart phones, desktops, laptops, tablets, VoIP and POTS phones.
  • Enterprise asset inventory management including procurement, assignment, retirement and disposal
  • Printer management – local and network printer setup, install, troubleshooting
  • Authoring and upkeep of documents for User Guides and Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
  • Audio/video conferencing equipment support and maintenance
  • End user training, including the creation of pre-recorded training videos
  • Lift up to 40 lbs
  • Valid Class C Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record of no more than three moving violations and no DUI’s within the last three years
