APEALZ is an Innovative, design-oriented Company with a range of great unique customizable products & tools. The Social Media & Production Graphic Designer effectively leads and produces design functions in concert with the Creative Director at APEALZ. The position is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative collateral for websites, social media, product graphics, email promotional creative, email templates, banner ads and in-house Design needs, applied toward a variety of targeted initiatives & timetables.

Job Duties

Produce quality design and production for websites, product graphics, web logos, social media graphics and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and email templates. This role is expected to be hands-on.

Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online Marketing strategies into effective designs.

Work with Creative Director to ensure aesthetics also are aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards, and ensure consistency and integrity of the creative vision.

Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing, versioning, and set-bracketing.

Ensure consistency of brand and creativity across digital customer touch points.

Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a designer who is:

• Highly creative and is able to receive art direction easily, translate it into Design readily and consistently meet reasonable timetables & deadlines.
• Comfortable doing necessary tweaks & revisions to finalize each completed Item.
• Adept with the various standard design, spreadsheet, communication & content management platforms - Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Sheets, Slides, Excel, among others.
• Someone proficient in designing websites and for mainstream social media platforms, and capable of delivering on initiatives & delivery expectations required for a multi-channel marketing strategy.
• Interested in the potential for longer-term opportunities for professional development & evolving with a growing design-tech company.

Skill requirements:

Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus

Diverse and creative portfolio of design work for social media and web. Please submit samples (required).

Ability to utilize stock imagery and overlay products and product images into designs and onto laptops, cell phones, etc... (compositing) without it looking photoshopped (see design samples).

Email template design experience a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
