SNVA is offering SDP (Skill Development and Placement Program) in which we deliver an 8-week remote skill development boot camp based on live-based scenarios. We provide an intensive and thorough boot camp in the #frond end role.
Position: Frond-end Java Software Trainee.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborates with Web designers and UX/UI teams in the development of digital concepts and designs.
- Works within code HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and within internal content management systems (CMS).
- Designs markups and prototypes within the set brand aesthetic for a consistent look and feel.
- Partners cross multiple areas to see projects through to production.
- Keeps current with ongoing digital trends and best practices.
- Supports internal none consumer-facing site projects.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree or related work experience
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Web Design & Development, or related
- Years of experience: 1 to 2+
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Proficient understanding and working knowledge of CMS applications
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- Proficient understanding of responsive front-end frameworks like Bootstrap
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Experience collaborating with Web designers and UX/UI designers to ensure design quality
- Experience with responsive web design and best practices
- Experience working within existing style guides and brand guidelines
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to articulate and present ideas
- Ability to communicate effectively both spoken and written
- Ability to think creatively innovating new web solutions for desktop, mobile, and applications
- Must be able to take creative direction and receive feedback in a positive manner
- Must have a team-first mentality
