Radiology Medical Imaging Front Desk Receptionist

Seeking a dedicated, self-motivated and compassionate team member with exceptional customer service skills. Candidate must have professional appearance, a positive attitude with excellent communication and multi-tasking skill set.

Job Description

Provides scheduling and registration services for patients and referring physicians to assist in the delivery of specialized health care. Provides outstanding customer service to ensure all patients feel welcome at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently schedules patients for MRI/CT scans upon request from referring physician.
• Creates patient charts accurately and collects required demographic and clinical information.
• Advises patients of insurance information.
• Promptly answer all incoming phone calls in a professional kind manner. Accurately takes messages for radiologist or route calls as needed.
• Requests medical records/clinical notes from referring physicians as needed for authorization/collections.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm

Experience:

• Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• High School Diploma
