Highpointe Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking a Assistant Teacher! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who is passionate about early childhood education. Compensation: $16.00 - $19 an hour, based on experience or education *$750 sign on bonus*

Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children
• Carrying out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs
• Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care for the children

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Willing to train and help obtain ECE credentials
