· Distribution and receiving of goods as schedule and assigns.
· Are readily available for routine and emergency transportation needs.
· Follow and uphold company’s policies and standards within the FSMS throughout the department, this includes GMPs, SOPs, SSOPs, and the MSS.
· Monitor the following in route to limit food safety concerns.
o Reefer units
o The sanitation condition of trucks
o The security of the load
· Minimizing delivery related damages.
· Completes required documents.
· Assist with training new hires.
· Report equipment failure, non-conformances and actual or possible food safety to management and QA.
· Play an active role supporting the food safety culture.
· Resolve food safety issues within the scope of their job and with guidance from management and QA.
· Maintain a healthy and safe work environment by implementing company and regulatory guidelines.
· Provides perspective on continuous improvement for transportation.
· Assist in the warehouse as needed.
