Fidelity is embarking on an exciting journey to build a Cloud-based analytic platform that brings together data from across all our diverse business lines. The platform’s unified data will drive business decisions which enable Fidelity’s vision of helping our customers achieve their financial goals. Coordinated Data Modeling is key to aligning our various supplying Business Units towards a vision of Unified Enterprise Data.
We are seeking someone who is looking for an exciting and ambitious opportunity to continue to improve our data model and our modeling standards and operating model. In this role you will quickly develop relationships across the enterprise that help you understand Fidelity’s business model, our current data environment and needs, and how data drives our success. We will provide opportunities for you to collaborate with all our Business Units to provide mentorship in implementing the right data model and practices that meet their needs.
Within Fidelity’s Data Modeling and Data Management Best Practices Center of Excellence, our mission is to create an environment where data consumers have controlled access to well understood data which they use to drive business outcomes. The team maintains and promotes an enterprise data taxonomy, drives common standards and best practices for data management, drives the standardization of data modeling and ensure the value of good data modeling and data management practice are understood. We promote and facilitate Communities of Practice to drive collaboration aligned to our vision and mission.
