Speckin Forensics is looking to hire a Digital Forensic Investigator to analyze computers or other technological devices to gather evidence for litigation. The primary office will be in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While some remote work is possible, close proximity to the area is important. Travel to our other offices in Michigan will be regular and occasional travel throughout the U.S.

The Digital Forensic Expert will investigate and analyze digital evidence by performing hardware, software, and virtual analysis of digital evidence in the office and in the field. This involves sensitive, complex, criminal, and civil investigations. This position will process and analyze digital evidence, including the disassembly of computer hardware; forensic imaging of digital media; examination of data in civil cases, corporate investigations, and matters related to criminal offenses; recovery of data from cellular telephones; and perform related duties as necessary including testimony.

The Digital Forensics Examiner will prepare comprehensive examination reports for the analysis of digital media and may be required to testify in depositions and court as a forensic expert.

Experience with imaging, forensic analyses, using FTK (or similar), and cell phone capture and analyses are required. Previous court qualification and expert testimony experience are desired.
