Austin Machine is a well-established aerospace job shop conveniently located in the O'Fallon area right off of Highway 70. Austin Machine provides a clean and climate controlled environment for its employees and is looking to add a CNC Mill Programmer and solidworks designer to our team.

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in a machine shop
• We primarily run HAAS, DMG, and SNK machines.
• Generate CNC programs for Machining Centers in MasterCam and design fixtures in SolidWorks. Vericut experience a plus.
• Build 3D models
• Create drawings from 3D models
• Troubleshoot programming problems on shop floor.
• Investigate and implement improvements in programming techniques.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings and work instruction.
• Must have your own tools.
• Must be able to pass a drug test

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: 44+hrs/week

Shifts: Day shift

We focus on short lead times, small quantities with quick turnarounds, hinges, very large parts, complex 5 axis parts and the use of 90 degree heads in the 5 axis machining.
