We have a variety of positions available at Mama Bears Childcare
Lead Teacher: Plan and impliment lesson plans for your class, provide daily cares for children, PLAY and have fun with the children in your class and provide and safe and healthy learning environment where children will feel welcomed, nurtured, and so so loved while they learn through play.
Assistant Teacher: Provide all of the same cares as a Lead Teacher would, and help prep the lesson plan materials required for each week
Float Position: Float from classroom to classroom providing all the same high-level quality of care as our other teachers, just not assigned to any specific classroom. This person typically has a more flexible schedule and hops from room to room helping out each classroom in various ways
Office Assistant: Help with logging financial data, filing paperwork, prepping activities and lesson plan items, completing various audits and tracking grant paperwork, helping plan and organize events happening at the center and fundraisers. This jobs role could look very different from month to month as our needs change throughout the year, but schedule would be flexible
10-2 Helper: Perfect hours for someone with kids in school, this position would be here for the middle of the day to help with lunch times, potties, putting kids down for nap, and then giving lunch breaks to the staff while the kids sleep
Special Lesson Teacher: This person would have a very flexible schedule and bring a few of their passions to the center to share with the kids. We are looking for a few people that have a passion and knowledge to share in a few specific areas (Think gardening, painting, pottery, sewing, wood building, etc.) and would want to come here and share that knowledge and passion with the children for a few hours each week.
We have children from 4 weeks to 12 years, with endless options to fullfill your passion of working with children.
