What You’ll Do

As a Closing Support Funder you will be responsible for managing a daily pipeline of loans that need final loan disbursements. Products will be for various refinance transactions and purchases. Work with various title settlement agencies to ensure each file is disbursed in a timely manner.

  • Ensures all loans in assigned pipeline must be disbursed by the disbursement date.
  • For each loan, reaches out to title company to ask for all funding docs required by funding conditions.
  • Reviews all required documents, as compared to document list.
  • Ensures all documents are signed and dated appropriately.
  • Follows up to capture missing docs from title company, Loan Officer, or other internal department.
  • Issues a funding number to title company once all docs received.
  • Enters funding number into system and a funds released date.
  • Uploads funding documents into Encompass.


Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Funder.
  • Experience with Encompass
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, possessing excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (both written and oral), and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Work well in a team-oriented environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Organized individual with excellent decision making, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
