Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position
is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

Project Description
  • Participate in the Noblis Summer Internship Program. This is a Summer Intern Position.
  • This position is to work with a team on web-based tools that improve the management of the Department of Defense’s environmental and energy research and development (R&D) programs.
  • Engage in the team's Agile development processes, including planning and standups.
  • Develop a major new feature, by working closely with the Product Owner and requirements analysts to understand the business value of requirements and collaborating with the team to translate these needs into working software
  • Improve software quality through testing and code reviews
  • Participate in release activities
  • Actively participate in team idea-sharing, collaboration, and problem-solving
Qualifications:

What We Need From You:

  • A GPA of 3.3 or higher
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
  • Familiarity with .NET or C#
  • Exposure to HTML/CSS and JavaScript/jQuery is a plus
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and web development
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey technical solutions with the team and create robust documentation
